Gears of War 4 finally revealed

COG TOWN is back baby!  The Coalition studio finally took the towels off of the next chapter in the Gears of War franchise.  Gears of War 4 looks amazing from what I saw.  Take a look at the video and tell me what you think.

If you want to get an early taste of Gears of War 4, you can grab Gears of War Ultimated Edition launching in August.

The shooter that defined the first generation of HD gaming has been painstakingly remastered in breathtaking 1080p and modernized for Xbox One with all-new content, including five campaign chapters playable for the first time on Xbox, and heart-pounding, 60 frames-per-second multiplayer action. A modernized user interface and controls – based on Gears of War 3 – means improved input acceleration and haptic feedback on the Xbox One controller, as well as improved situational awareness features, sensitivity customization, and plenty of other new-gen perks.

  1. This is one of the games I was waiting for to upgrade. Love me some gears and the preview looked pretty darn good. Might drive me to upgrade finally. I will take Gears over Halo any day. Hoping the new changes to Halo revive it as I have slowly lost interest in it over the last few releases.

  2. I agree. I wasn’t feeling him much either, but I still want this game. Love Gears.

I am even more disappointed in Halo now that I just read about the damn micro transactions. While they are not as bad as they could be from what I read, I will not be picking it up when it launches. I will wait a while now and see how it plays out I think. I am in no hurry to jump back into Halo now because I despise micro transactions so much. On a free to play game I get it. Need to make money somehow, but on a full priced game they plan to nickel and dime us more. Forget it.

  3. I’m glad that a new Gears is coming finally! While I am a Marcus Phoenix fan (and a Cole fan), I don’t mind seeing some new blood. The way the monsters look in the demo, they are introducing something new but yet it still feels like the old Gears of War. Can’t wait!
